NIRIS is a fast-growing next-generation fiduciary firm founded in 2020 and based at the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne. We support more than 70 SMEs and startups across Switzerland through a data-driven approach combining accounting, tax, automation, and agentic AI.Our ambition is to redefine finance, accounting, and tax services by building a fully integrated fintech platform. NIRIS is currently undergoing a licensing process with FINMA to combine fiduciary services with a payment institution, enabling a seamless infrastructure across accounting, financial management, and payment flows.Beyond automation, we aim to turn accounting into a strategic data layer by enriching financial data with non-financial and operational insights, unlocking better decision-making for SMEs and startups.
Full-Service Fiduciary
We provide core fiduciary services including accounting, tax, payroll, and financial reporting for SMEs and startups across Switzerland. We also support company setup, domiciliation, ERP implementation (e.g. Odoo), tax representation, audit assistance, and transactions such as M&A and due diligence. Our approach combines 6+ years expertise with a pragmatic, technology-driven execution.
Integrated Financial Platform
We are building a unified platform combining fiduciary services with payment infrastructure. As part of this vision, NIRIS is undergoing a licensing process with FINMA to operate as a payment institution, enabling seamless management of accounting, financial flows, and transactions.
Next-Generation Accounting
Our long-term ambition is to transform accounting into a strategic data layer. Rather than replacing existing processes, we build on top of core accounting logic and workflows to enrich each entry with non-financial and operational metrics. This approach extends the fundamentals of accounting itself, unlocking deeper insights and better decision-making for SMEs and startups.
Product & Engineering Talent
We are looking for experienced profiles to build our next-generation financial infrastructure, including core payment systems and product foundations. This includes software engineers, cloud and system architects, and product designers to shape a seamless financial experience for SMEs.
Public Sector & Tax Innovation
We are seeking connections with federal and cantonal tax authorities open to innovation. Our goal is to explore new ways to streamline accounting and tax interactions, enabling more pragmatic, transparent, and efficient collaboration between SMEs and public administrations.
Non-Financial Standards & Advisory
We are looking to connect with experts and partners at the forefront of non-financial reporting standards. This includes initiatives around emerging frameworks (e.g. Digital Product Passport) to ensure the non-financial accounting layer we develop is aligned with future regulatory and market standards.
