GFN is launching Nature on the Balance Sheet, a practitioner-led working group exploring why nature-based projects still struggle to reach institutional balance sheets, and what could make them investable.
Led by GFN Board Member Rahel Guggenbühl, Founder and CEO of reilo, the group connects GFN members and beyond spanning project development, verification and data, and investment: reilo., Cultivo, NatureFinance, ImpactScope, Nest, ASFOS and more.
The invite-only initiative kicks off on Monday, 2 November 2026, followed by focused working sessions to identify practical barriers, develop solutions around real use cases and explore potential pilots. The group’s first goal is to develop a joint session during WEF in Davos in January 2027.
