Green Digital Finance Alliance (GDFA) is organizing a closed-door roundtable that will explore key structural barriers in global sustainable bond markets and discuss how digital ledger technologies (DLT), together with digital monitoring, reporting and verification (dMRV), AI, and advanced data analytics, can help address these challenges and unlock new growth potential in labelled bond markets. While these technologies are maturing, gaps remain in interoperability, standardisation, capacity building, and the consistent tracking of use-of-proceeds across sectors.
This roundtable will be the first in a series leading up to the planned launch of a global collaborative initiative aimed at building momentum in labelled bond markets.
Participants will share insights on complementary initiatives, discuss priority use cases and considerations around impact integrity, and identify key market barriers, thereby helping to shape a robust value proposition and mandate for the prospective global initiative.
This is event is hosted by GFN.
