About the event

Most larger companies want to, know they should, or must assess their climate risks. But many don't know where to start, how to go about it, or what to do with the results.

This session brings together corporate sustainability practitioners, consultants, and technical specialists to share what they've learned from real climate risk projects. What do meaningful climate risk projects entail? What questions matter most? What's worth focusing on? Who needs to be involved? And what typically goes wrong? We do not frame climate risk assessments as a compliance exercise but want to highlight why dealing with them is valuable in its own right

To ensure we talk about what's truly relevant for the audience, you may submit your own climate risk challenge before the event. We'll select three cases from the submissions, and during the session the room votes on which one to look at together. We will address the remaining cases in writing after the event.

Part 1: Looking at climate risks from three different perspectives.

With GE Vernova, Sustainserv, and Correntics

GE Vernova complements the views and experience of Sustainserv and Correntics with valuable practitioner's insights. Through a mini-panel and an audience Q&A we explore what the distinct challenges of each of our experts are and how they managed to resolve them.

Part 2: Looking at a case from the audience

With GE Vernova, Sustainserv, and Correntics

From the cases and challenges submitted by the audience before the event, we introduce three and then together choose one for an in-depth look. You will first work in groups among other participants and bring your insights to the floor. The panel contributes their perspective, before a Q&A may probe the case even deeper.

This is a Climate Week Zurich event, held within a programme of 250+ sessions from 4-9 May 2026 focused on co‑creating and scaling climate solutions across sectors.
